MRP8 antibody LS-B2247 is an FITC-conjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to MRP8 (S100A8) from human. It is reactive with human, rat, bovine and other species. Validated for Flow and IHC. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues.

Recognizes human L1 Protein or Calprotectin Molecule. Variable results have been reported for the staining of brain macrophages and microglia. Species cross-reactivity: equine, Cynomolgus monkey, Rhesus monkey, monkey, bovine, baboon, rabbit, canine, feline, porcine, guinea pig and rat.

Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2247 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2247 was determined to be 1:50. Flow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100ul. Membrane permeabilization is required. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
