Fibroblasts are a type of cells that mainly secrete extracellular matrix, derived from mesenchymal cells in the embryonic mesoderm. Embryonic fibroblasts are usually used as feeder cells for embryonic stem cell culture.

OriCellTM ICR mouse embryonic fibroblasts (inactivated) are derived from the trunk and limbs of 13.5-day ICR fetal mice. They are cultured in monolayers and cultured to the P1 generation and cryopreserved after inactivation by γ-rays. MEF is used to cultivate mouse embryonic stem cells and human embryonic stem cells to maintain their undifferentiated state.

QC:

  • Pass the detection of bacteria, fungi, mycoplasma, and endotoxins.
  • Pass the viability examination. The viable rates is higher than 80%.
