Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000, 1ug of Rat IgA in a standard capture using Streptavidin (HRP) and ABTS (A0030) as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT.
Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:5000
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity
Recognizes rat IgA. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin, anti-goat serum, rat IgA and rat serum. Does not cross-react with other rat heavy or light chain proteins.
