May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Rhodamine conjugates are sensitive to light.

Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography using rat IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.

Rat IgM heavy chain

Recognizes rat IgM. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-rabbit serum, rat IgM, and rat serum. No reaction was observed against rat IgG F(c).
