IgM (TRITC)

Label: Tetramethylrhodamine isothiocyanante (TRITC) (Molecular Weight 444 daltons)

Absorption Wavelength: 550 nm

Emission Wavelength: 570 nm

Fluorochrome/Protein Ratio: 2.3 moles TRITC per mole of Goat IgG

Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Rat IgM m chain

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgM and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against Rat IgG or Rat IgA. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other Rat heavy or light chain isotypes.
