Biological Activity
Pluronic F-127 was used for fluorescent labeling of blood vessels, astrocytes, and neurons. Pluronic F-127 is frequently used with dye AM esters such as Indo-1 AM, Fura-2 AM, Calcein AM, Fluo-3 AM, Fluo-4 AM, etc. to improve their water solubility. Pluronic F-127 was used to coat a siliconized coverslip to hold an egg extract in a study. Pluronic F-127 was added to phosphate buffered saline (PBS), to lower unspecific cell and protein adhesion to a PDMS-based microfluidic device.

Animal A (mg/kg) = Animal B (mg/kg) multiplied by | Animal B Km |
Animal A Km |
For example, to modify the dose of Compound A used for a mouse (20 mg/kg) to a dose based on the BSA for a rat, multiply 20 mg/kg by the Km factor for a mouse and then divide by the Km factor for a rat. This calculation results in a rat equivalent dose for Compound A of 10 mg/kg.
